- Chapel
Upper School Chapel is an exciting, student-focused experience – created for and by the students of Christian Life. Our worship is led by a student band in the school, ranging in style from classic hymns to contemporary praise. Skits and human videos, developed in cooperation with the drama department, display the gospel in a relevant and entertaining light. Our speakers are dynamic and personal, speaking to students about the struggles young adults face and training them to think scripturally.
Chapel is planned by a diverse committee of students with support by the school staff. These students are passionate about making chapel a place for them, a place where the gospel can be spoken in language that is understandable to their generation. The result is a remarkable school-wide enthusiasm during chapel sessions as students worship God, grow in their faith, and learn how to daily live their Christian life.
Upcoming speakers include:
- Brent Moss - Former Wisconsin Badgers Running Back and Rose Bowl MVP
- Art Van Zanten - Director of Fort Myers Masters Commission
- Chris Mancil - Director of the Dallas Masters Commission
- David Nelson - Alumni and Former Lead Pastor at Eastlake Church in Seattle, Washington, one of the twenty five fastest growing churches in the United States according to Outreach Magazine
